Meet Dr. Chamoun

Hello! I'm Dionne, a Family Medicine physician with additional certification in Obesity Medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine. I provide both Direct Primary Care to ages 12 and over as well as weight management.

I am a family medicine doctor in Broomall, PA and received my medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and have been in practice many years.

After completing my residency in Texas, my family and I moved to southeastern Pennsylvania where we have lived and worked for 20 years. My husband and I raised our sons in Chester County before moving to Montgomery County but I have roots in Delaware County, having grown up in Aston and Newtown Square and married in St. Sharbel’s Church. I grew up visiting the Lawrence Park Shopping Center and was delighted to find office space available in that same center.

While I love practicing Family Medicine, Weight management has always been a topic of great interest to me and in 2021 I completed my training with the American Board of Obesity Medicine and became a Diplomate. Having my own practice, especially a DPC practice, will allows me to put the patient's needs first.

When I am not working, I enjoy walking in my neighborhood, taking the train into the city for lunch at the Reading Terminal Market, seeing live shows, listening to audiobooks and podcasts and visiting the Philadelphia Art Museum’s latest exhibition.
